Monday, October 28th at 6pm, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art presents the catalog of the exhibition Joint is Out of Time, an experience that needs to be told and discussed in its complexity, not only because it is essential to the Time is Out of Joint revolution, but once again testifies to the natural predisposition to the renewal of this vision applied to museology.
The exhibition, curated by Bettina Della Casa and Saretto Cincinelli, resulted in the spaces of the National Gallery the works of seven internationally renowned artists such as Elena Damiani, Fernanda Fragateiro, Francesco Gennari, Roni Horn, Giulio Paolini, Jan Vercruysse and Davide Rivalta. The title Joint is Out of Time, a play on words that mirrors the Shakespearean quote Time is Out of Joint, expresses the close relationship between the current installation of the permanent collection of the National Gallery and the short circuit that every new work included in this plot is able to trigger, providing new and original interpretative keys.
The Director of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art Cristiana Collu, Saretto Cincinelli, Bettina Della Casa, Franco Rella, Elizabeth Rodini and Riccardo Venturi will attend.
