Connection Gallery is a project curated by Massimo Mininni and dedicated to the work of contemporary artists who have been selected by different curators and invited to design a site specific artwork for the museum. The very first appointment of Connection Gallery has been organized by Ilaria Bernardi who presented Andrea Mastrovito, the creator of an installation entitled Very Bad Things.
With Very Bad Things the artist modifies the space, not in an invasive way through a physical and concrete structure, but by choosing to intervene with lightness, the lightness proper to light. It is the latter, in fact, the true protagonist of the work, which determines a incorporeal and polychrome luminous sculpture, which evolves depending on time and weather conditions: an apparition that intervenes poetically and that welcomes the visitor, guiding them toward the imagination.
